Niramay Bal Poshan Kendra, Jam Khambhalia was the first step towards institutionalizing our interventions from community level to facility level interventions. Project Tushti launched by Nayara Energy Ltd envisages malnutrition free Devbhumi Dwarka district. Implemented by IIPH Gandhinagar, Bal Poshan Yojana was launched to garner support of private paediatric providers for the treatment of SAM Children.

Celebrating Successful treatment of 200 SAM Children
We established 20 bedded centre in Jam Khambhalia for treatment of SAM children.
we provided treatment to 201 SAM children. we screened ~8,000 children in Jam
Khambhalia taluka and identified 324 SAM
children. out of these we successfully
mobilised 216 SAM children at our facility.
Total 201 SAM children completed 14 days
of care at facility followed by six week
community follow-up under the project.
